As we live in an increasingly stressful and competitive society, mental health issues have also increasingly become prevalent. Therefore, some actions need to be executed to improve overall mental health care and support systems. Firstly, even in such modern era, mental health issues are given less importance. This is due to lack of understanding and knowledge causing people suffering from mental health issues to seek right treatment. Hence, more awareness programs should be organized amongst general people by respective mental health care and support organizations. Also, both private and public organizations can play a vital role by doing surveys. For example, educational institutions and corporate offices can have a yearly survey to understand the mental state of students and employees for required medical attention. Additionally, this will help to identify underlying mental health issues and provide proper care. Furthermore, this will help generate funds for mental health care and support systems as it gets often neglected unlike other health issues. Mental health issues are difficult to undermine and often remains untreated leading patients to face serious consequences such as suicide. Therefore, the importance of mental health should be given equally as like any other ailments and more support groups should be created.
