Nowadays, our society produces a lot of rubbish due to many reasons. The major reason is the high consumption of our daily products and the careless behavior of some people. Thus, the government pays significant attention to this issue via different methods such as awareness campaigns and other procedures performed to overcome this problem. Firstly, people used to purchase many products during their daily lives. Unfortunately, many individuals have bad behavior by throwing them over the floor, not in the bins. As a result, the litter accumulates on the street floor. For instance, I usually notice many people in my town throw empty used packs on the street floor with a very careless negative attitude, leading to an increase in pollution and rubbish in the main streets. Furthermore, the government authorities have noticed this issue. Now they are seeking to mitigate this problem by increasing public awareness about the expected drawbacks which will negatively affect our societies, leading to the arising of many diseases and infections. For example, the previous month, the government launched a proactive online campaign that illustrated the hazardous consequences of rubbish accumulation in our city. Moreover, this campaign had a positive impact on some neighborhoods because they started to collect money to purchase litter bins and display them all over the neighborhood corners encouraging people to throw their rubbish in the bins and reduce the amount of litter that existed in their area. In conclusion, there is a lot of rubbish in our communities due to the negative behavior of many people leading to an increase in the risk of pollution and infections. As a result, The government authorities and some neighborhoods collaborated to reduce this issue by using the power of social media, so they released a digital campaign to raise local awareness. Furthermore, there was an initiative to increase the number of bins in some neighborhoods encouraging people to use them and avoid throwing rubbish in the streets. while there are many problems in our societies, we should try to overcome them, so we can avoid any adverse effects or disasters in the future.
