Taking surplus subject along with main subjects has become delicate matter of debate. In this essay, I will discuss both the views whether it is beneficial to take additional subject along with main subjects or just focus on majors and followed by my opinion. On the stand of learning new subjects, plenty of benefits lies ahead. Firstly, studying something new means gaining knowledge which facilitates your vision, understanding, skills in many practical things. For instance, people learning new languages other than their native language have more information about the culture and the people they meet and interact with. In addition to that, there is more scope of development both personally and professionally. On the other side, focusing on qualification possesses various beneficial factors for university students. First and foremost, gaining expertise in certain profession enhances the chance of getting success. Studying science to become a doctor is crucial for the medical personnel. Furthermore, individual can have access to full skill, knowledge, methods on how to tackle the situation efficiently and effectively. For instance, musicians have vast creativity and flexibility which helps them to create and compose different types of musical artwork. In my opinion, learning new subjects and focusing on majors both have enormous amount of advantages on their own. But what’s important is to have balance between the two for maximum satisfactory results. In conclusion, choosing additional topic to study helps your understanding and knowing about other cultures. However, it is equally mandatory to focus on main topic to gain level of expertise. Balancing the two is truly necessary and beneficial on the long run.
