Task answer
Villagers from around the world are migrating to the metropolitan cities. Because of that, the number of civilians in the rural area has dropped significantly. While this movement made both negative and positive impact on the distribution of the residents, this essay agrees that it has more negativity than positive.
Individuals from the countryside, especially adolescents, would be interested in moving to the city. Social media appears to be a huge motivation behind it. By being exposed to social medias like instagram and tiktok, the small town residents would have access to a whole new world, explaining the desire to relocate to the city. Additionally, the chances of getting a new job at the city is simpler as there are likely more number of vacant spots.
However with the rest of the residents fleeing and emptying the town, it would result in an uneven number of the population of the country. The city would be packed, while the small country town would be vacant. Furthermore, the crowd would result in the law enforcement officers strengthening their forces to anticipate a higher rate of crime.
Traveling from a rural countryside to a metropolitan city would be an eye opening experience for a lot of people. They would get more experiences and opportunities that they did not get back in their home town. While it has its perks, it appears that migrating to the city may have its disadvantage to a greater number of people. Due to the crowd, the city is more prone to densely populated zones and intensified crime rates. With that being said, it is only acceptable to move into the city if the government could limit the amount of people migrating to avoid overpopulation.
