Task description
The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write a minimum of 150 words.

Task answer
The table demonstrates different items that are consumed in five different countries. Food and drinks are highlighted items which are consumed most.
In Ireland, digestive needs are the most crucial where clothing and education are in contrast. Additionally, in Turkey, the percentage of food is consumed more three times than leisure and education. Italy, Spain and Sweden also have the less percentage of clothing and entertainment.
Regarding food, drinks, and tobacco, the proportion of consumer expenditure was highest in Turkey, at 32%, followed by Ireland, at 28.91%. The figures for the other three countries did not exceed 18.8 %, with Sweden being the lowest, at 15.77%.
Turkey also had the largest percentage of spending in leisure and education, at 4.35% while the figures for the remaining countries were lower than 3.3%. In regards to clothing and footwear, Italy recorded the highest figure, at 6.63% whereas the percentage in Sweden was lowest, at 5.40%. The figures for Ireland, Spain, and Turkey stood at around 6.5%.
