Task answer

In recent years, the number of people moving from rural areas to the cities has significantly increased in many countries worldwide. As a result, the countryside's population is falling. In my opinion, this is a negative development of these countries, both the cities and the countryside. First, the relocation of rural people can lead to the shortage of labour workforce in the countryside, especially high-skilled and young talent. This can prevent the growth of the local economy. Meanwhile, the number of unemployed people in the cites is increasing more and more. In addition, the large number of the population in the cities can make the living conditions even worse as the more crowded of people, the more polluted of environment. For example, Ho Chi Minh City, which has been ranked as top 2 with the number of population in Vietnam, has caused air and water even more contaminated. Furthermore, the overpopulation might lead to the terrible traffic jam and bad infrastructure. In summary, the significant difference of the population in the cities and the countryside can lead to the slow development of the economy and the negative effect on the sustainable environment. This unbalanced development can lead to the larger discrimination between the rich and the poor, which causes unequal social. In this case, the government should have regulations to decrease this unbalance.
