Task description
The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write a minimum of 150 words.

Task answer
The given table chart demonstrates the proportion of consumer in 5 different countries namely Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey expenditure by category in 2002.
Overall, it is obvious that the money was spent on food,drinks,tobacco in all 5 countries was the largest percentage. On the other hand, the money was spent on leisure and education occupied the smallest proportion.
Out of the five countries, the expenditure in food, drinks and tobacco was the highest in Turkey, at 31,14%. The figure for that in Ireland has the second highest with nearly 29%. While the percentage of money was spent on Leisure,education and clothing, footwear was the highest at 4,35% in Turkey and 9% in Italy, respectively.
In contrast, Spain had the lowest percentage of expenditure in leisure and education at approximately 2%. Furthermore, the figure for clothing, footwear in Sweden occupied the smallest proportion at 5,4%. The last, money spending on food, drinks, tobacco was the fewest in Swedent about 15,77%
