In today's world, science is playing a crucial role in shaping our lives. While it serves various purposes, I strongly agree that the main goal of science is to enhance people's quality of life, and this essay with explain the reasons below. First and foremost, science has already brings back a wide range of benefits in terms of health, safety and comfort. Medical experiments, for instance during the Covid 19 pandemic also has saved many people's live from inventing the vaccine, contributing to expanding many's life expectancy. Moreover, technological innovations in various fields such as agriculture and energy have helped in providing food and resources to remote areas, gradually improving the life quality and living standards. These advancements have clearly demonstrate that when science researchs and inventions are for real world problem, it has the ability to transform lives. Furthermore, focusing on improving people's lives will prove that scientific jobs are ethical and reasonable, since there are some science pursuits that only focus on developing weapons and exploring places may not align to one's interest. Priotizing human's welfare might give scientists the courage to work more properly on coming up with solutions for global warming or poverty. That being said, not all scientific research has immediate practical applications. Some areas of science, such as theoretical physics or space exploration, may seem unrelated to daily life but could eventually lead to life-changing discoveries. Therefore, while improving lives should be the core objective, a certain amount of curiosity-driven research should still be supported for long-term progress. In conclusion, while science can be providing and supporting the society in numerous purposes, I still believe that priotizing human's well being is the most significant and the primary goal.
