Task answer

The given table depicts the data on the proportion of the amount of money spent by consumers on the types of distinct items in different nations, including Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Turkey in 2002 Upon examining the data, it is evident that food, drinks and tobacco consistently outperformed other two the categories of products and services among five nations in terms of the percentages of spending. Conversely, Leisure and education accounted for the lowest percentage Out of the five countries, food, drinks and tobacco commenced with Turkey at the forefront, at around 32%, the next largest spending was Ireland with 28.91%. By contrast, there was a dramatic gap to Spain and Italy, where the percentages of consumer expenditure were only 18,80% and 16,36% respectively. Noticeably, the expenditure by people in Sweden was around half lower than the figure for Turkey In terms of leisure and education, this does not show a significant discrepancy, ranging from 1% up to 5%. Italy headed the table for clothing and footwear. The consumer spending of 9% compared with more than 6% for Turkey, Spain and Ireland, but it was even lower in Sweden at 5,40%
