the given diagram demonstrates the design of public library' floor 20 years ago and how it looks in present. overall, it can be seen that the layout of the library remains the same, with three main areas on either side of the entrance. The most significant change would be the changes in the purpose of each zones and the disapperance of tables and chairs in the main hall twenty years ago, go ahead from the entrance, there was a large hall with tables and chairs in the center, but they have now been removed. On the left hand side of the entrance, there used to be a reading room, including newspapers and magazines, however, now it has been converted into a computer room. In front of this room used to be a adult fiction books with a large areas, but in the present map, this zones has been reduce in size and show cases reference books for all ages. The last room on the left side was once dedicated to CDs, videos, and computer games; now, it has been expanded to hold storytelling events and house a collection of children's fiction books, with several sofa nearby. On the right of the map, next to the entrance , there used to be an enquiry desk in which people could buy tickets, book returns, but now it has been replce by a coffee shop. Next to the cafe, twenty years ago, there was a large area for adult non-fiction books; at present, this area showcases ficyion books for adult and an infomation desk has been added with three self-service machines. A new lecture room has replaced the area which once was a children's books since 20 years ago
