Music is a vital solution for entertainment, since we can feel a sense of relaxation and fulfillment through listening to music. This essay will discuss the reason why we need music in our lives, and the interpretation for the nuance importance of both traditional music and international music in today's music industry. One major reason explains why people need music is the entertainment and medical function of music. Firstly, music is designed with consistent beats, melodies, and sounds, which can continuosly stimulate the release of dopamine - the happiness hormone inside our brain. With the neurological effect of music, people can enhance their working or studying productivity by listening to music. In addition, music can be an effective treatment for mental disorders, that it can give a sense of empathy, touching patients' underlying pains, and healing their souls. For instance, many therapists often use soft music for the treatment of depresssion, which are proved to have high efficiency. In the current music industry, it is equally viable to prioritise both traditional and international music, since they provide a balanced value for the listeners. On the one hand, the use of traditional instruments, national costumes, or mother language in traditional music can generate a sense of patriotism in indiviuduals' hearts. For example, Vietnamese songs which obtain the nationalism of Vietnamese people, have been played in many remarkable events of the country, as people consider these music with their honor and proud. On the other hand, international music, which obtain modern and catchy styles, common international language, and multicultural traits, can fit with many characteristics of audiences worldwide. For instance, Korean Pop has gained significant success by the catchy melodies, multiculture features, and effective hooks in every songs. Therefore, people can enjoy both types of music and receive the universal benefits of listening to music. In conclusion, the diversity of music has become a huge concern in today's life. Music can play a fundamental role in entertaining individuals, and treating mental diseases. Furthermore, the position of traditional and international music is equivalent, since both types of music can bring valuable benefits for the listeners.
