Writing report

It is argued that equal individuals of male and female students in every subject should be accepted in the universities. I partly agree with the viewpoint because there should be no discrimination between genders in the pedagogy environment, it depends on the undergraduates' interest and student have the chance to develop further. On the one hand, in the modern era, knowledge should be provided freely to all the individuals from all ages and sex. There is no point in discriminating students studying the subjects they have interest in based on genders. While some female students have a knack for science subjects, some male students are keen on something dreamy like literature or art. In Vietnam, the ideology "boys should choose science, girls are only suitable for literature, history, geography" has raised a controversy between generations. Unfortunately, this viewpoint has ingrained into the Vietnamese subconscious. This is partly because from the past, most scholars are men, like Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, etc. makes them believe that only man have the capacity of creating new science formulas or inventions, contributing to the development of the world. Therefore, this must be alternated in the old teachers' mindset. On the other hand, students who learn the subjects that they are enthusiastic about can develop further in their future career. Allowing them to be attached with their favorite subject is a way to orientate their career, making them feel like supported and have motivations to live in their lives. Consequently, it can be witnessed that most successful people nowadays have worked in the field that they were gained interest from universities. They have enough motivation, passion and support both mentally and financially to continue their dreams. The more proficient people like that, the more developed the society is, in particular, and the globe is, in general. To summarize, students are free to choose their favorite subject regardless of genders because accessing academic knowledge is free of charge and this can contribute to the development of the society. Although there are still some old and wrong viewpoints about this issue but hopefully individuals can raise awareness and government should implement the propaganda for this issue.
