Task answer

The bar charts compare the proportion of residents of three areas in 1995 and 2010, categorized on whether they were born inside or outside Australia. Overall, while the figures of cities population remained stable, considerable decreases were observed in the remaining areas, both with people born in and outside Australia. Additionally, people lived in cities were less likely to born in Australia, both in two years counted. Beginning with cities, 1995 recorded a higher number of citizens born outside Australia and have a city accommodation, with 60% population, compared to under 50% of individuals have an Australian origin. Subsequently, both figures experienced moderate rises with similar levels after 15 years. In 2010, 80% and about 65% of cities' citizens were originated outside and inside Australia, respectively. Regarding rural areas, the proportion of rural populations born outside Australia were similarly higher than the oposite category, with the respective proportion of 40% and approximately 30%. However, both percentages plummeted dramatically between 1995 and 2010, with just above 5% people from outside Australia lived in rural areas, whose rank was overtaken by the figure of 15% people born inside the country. In terms of the towns, the shares were different from other areas, where around 20% people born in Australia live inside towns, higher than above 10% in the opposite figure. Over the next 15 years, general declines were noted with both categories, that over 15% and 10% towns' citizens were born inside and outside Autralia. Different from rural figures, the ranks of towns' shares were maintained.
