Although both schools of thought offer merit, I agree more with the former perspective. On the one hand, there are some major rationales that explain why some people think that spending all attention for a qualification is vital. This focused approach can be particularly advantageous in a career that demands expert knowledge such as medicine, engineering and accounting. On the other hand, opponents of the previous view claim that studying various topics at the same period is better. Students who exposure to different fields allow them to build a diverse skill set and expand their professional network, which helps them find well-paid jobs in this modern world, where employees earn their value as they can approach problems and multiple angles. In conclusion, although there are mixed options determining the best way to study, I believe that the ultimate decision needs to be made according to demand and passion of each student. If a student study deeply on their subject to get an academic excellence, giving all their time for a qualification is optimal. In contrast, the well-paid job and valuable character associated with various topics is the best option for students who study these.
