Task answer
The bar chart illustrates how many Japanese people travelled abroad from 1985 to 1995. The line chart depicts the proportion of Japanese tourists who came to Australia in the same period.
Overall, significantly more people have travelled to other countries in 1995, compared with the initial number. Meanwhile, the share of individuals visited Australia was also surged in ten years.
Beginning with the overall quantity, the first year observed about five million people spent their time for foreign trips. Subsequently, this figure rose consistently to over 11 million tourists in the next five years, before slightly declined to under 11 million people in 1991. The remaining years experienced a contrast trend, with a growth up to above 15 million citizens allocated on foreign trips in the final year.
Regarding the Australian' share, a similar trend was similarly experienced. Starting with just under 2% in 1985, the number of Japanese visitors was dramatically spited on a consistent level, to approximately 5.5% in 1988, before moderately decreased to above 4% in the next year. Furthermore, the period of 1989 to 1993 recorded an another consistent growth, with the final proportion was more than 6% in 1993, and then ending with a minimal fall to strictly 6% in the end of the period
