The figures give us information about the outlay of Norbiton town today and its strategic blueprint for the future. Overall, it is clear that the changes are aimed to shift Norbiton from an industrial to a residential area, evident from the replacement of factories with facilities such as a school and a hospital. Regarding the road structure, the town's outlay now is relatively simple, with a rotary in the middle of town, from which 2 roads are branched towards the east and the south. However, the design indicates that there will be one road extended to the north, crossing the river and another to the northwest. Another notable modification is the diversity of the planned infrastructures. The only buildings now in Norton, laying around the roundabout and the road to the right of the blueprint, are industrial lodgings. In contrast, the future area will feature a school at the very right of the map, followed by a playground on the eastward road, a medical center and shops at the southeast and southwest of the traffic circle, respectively. In addition, housings will dot the north, northwest and eastward road, and on the other side of the river in the farmland. All the factories will be pulled down for theses modifications.
