Task answer

There has been extended debate on whether people in some certain fields should or should not be allowed to work outside of the area where they completed their education. Personally, I believe that enabling them to work abroad would bring more benefit to society and should be encouraged. There are several reasons why making it mandatory for specific professionals to practice locally is advantageous. First, it contributes to ensuring the job quality, especially regarding fields whose characteristics differ vastly between areas. For example, a doctor trained in a particular region may be more familiar with epidemic diseases, therefore, making him stay will significantly benefit the local healthcare facility. In addition, this may be a solution to the reduction in workforce. Due to unattractive pay, many accomplished workers choose to migrate, leaving the home country with few available for hire. This mass migration can lead to skill shortages in critical sectors, weakening the economy and slowing national development, a situation which this policy might help alleviate. On the other hand, enabling all people to perform their jobs abroad has numerous positive effects. For one, it encourages professional development. In reality, this not only benefits the individual, but also society as a whole. For instance, many Vietnamese doctors who have completed their training at France, upon returning to their home country, brought with them advanced techniques in 30% of medical fields. Moreover, the global implication of the trend is considerable. By having foreign practitioners in different economic sections, mutual understanding is fostered and exchanges are facilitated between nations. Not only does this enhances the base skill level of the workforce, but also can serve as an initiative for deeper diplomatic relations and collaborations in the future. In conclusion, there are positive influences regardless of whether the country allows workers in specific fields to engage in practice abroad or not. However, I believe international exchanges would bring greater benefits for individuals, countries and global communities as a whole and thereby should be encouraged.
