The figure provides us information regarding the tea and coffee consumption of Australian citizens in five areas: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart in percent. Overall, buying fresh coffee is the least and drinking take out is the most common activity in the cities surveyed. Among the cities, purchasing beverages is most popular in Hobart. Regarding each city, the majority of inhabitants have visited a cafe for coffee or tea in the last 4 weeks, with the exception of Adelaide citizens who prefer getting instant coffee by a small margin of 1%. In contrast, fresh coffee is bought the least, with a difference of 15% to 22.5% compared to the most popular habit. Switching the focus onto the five locations, cafes are the most favored in Melbourne, with 63% residents having gone to one in the recent four weeks, followed closely by Hobart (62%) and Sydney (61%). Instant coffee purchasing habit is the least varying factor, most well-liked by citizens of Hobart with 54% of dwellers being buyers in the survey time, and least in Sydney (44.5%). However, Sydney had the highest amount of dwellers who got fresh coffee in a month (43%).
