Task answer
Being contented with one's occupation is essential for a person's health. Income and coworkers play key roles in achieving it, but I believe it's unrealistic to hope for everyone to feel fulfilled at work due to people's different expectations and situations.
It is undeniable that salaries and the working environment contribute significantly to employee happiness. For one, money is obviously important in everyday life, without which we cannot address our most basic needs such as food or accommodation. Therefore, low income leads to great personal discontentment, as people will not be able to afford to live comfortably, nor can they support their families and other relationships. In addition, fellow workers are partly responsible for a fulfilling job. If a person is surrounded by friendly and cooperative teammates, they will feel more welcomed and supported, thereby raising satisfaction. Furthermore, revenue - as aforementioned, a deciding factor in job satisfaction - is proportional to productivity, which is influenced by the amount of support received from coworkers.
Considering all the factors, I believe it is unrealistic to expect occupational gratification for all. First, people's needs are dissimilar. A single position, with a fixed paycheck, may be occupied by workers from all walks of life whose economic situations are vastly different. For example, a father of a of four may be more dissatisfied with the salary than a single man, as their pressures to provide are unequal. Moreover, not everyone is fortunate enough to be hired in a company with a suitable work environment. Naturally competitive people may be malcontent at workplaces where cooperative-orientated workers feel comfortable.
In conclusion, workplace environment and income account for the large part of occupational gratification. However, it is an oversimplification to expect everyone to love their jobs.
