Task description
The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write a minimum of 150 words.

Task answer
The diagram delineates a breakdown of how sugar is produced from sugar canes.
Overall, the process is comprised of 7 steps, which can be further divided into two main stages. Those commence at the growth of sugar canes, and they undergo various physical conditions, and culminate with the final product.
Initially, sugar canes are planted from 12 to 18 months to be ready for harvest, after which they are accumulated by a harvesting machine or cut manually. Subsequently, the collected agricultural plants are introduced into a crushing machine, and juice is then produced.
The next step is that the liquid is poured into a filter made from limestone to remove impurities, followed by evaporation which the material turns into syrup. Following this, the substance is conveyed to a centrifuge to divide sugar crystals from the syrup. Finally, the mixture is stored to be dryed and cooled to collect sugar.
