In recent years, various nations around the world experience a serious problem that is traffic jam on the streets, especially during rush hours. This trend leads to to wasted time, increased air pollution, and reduced quality of life. While this problem seems challenging, there are several effective approaches that could be implemented to mitigate it. Talking the first solution, I believe that the governments and communities should improve their transportation systems. It means that they should effort and allocate a huge amount of money to built new bike lanes and safe pedestrian paths for citizens. They also design and construct more subway, highway or other infrastructures to increase the space, prevent some accidents, make walking and cycling more convenient and safe and meet the standards of people's living. Furthermore, the authorities can organize some bike-sharing programs, which provide for dwellers affordable bicycle and decrease amount of toxic emission released into the air from vehicles such as car or motorbikes, making it easy for protecting the environment. More importantly, each individual need to enrich their knowledge about strictly comply with traffic safety. For example, when transporting by electrical bicycles or motorbike, residents must wear helmet, don't weave, don't speed, don't carry three people and suchlike. They do not drive a vehicle while drinking alcohol because alcohol drinks make people not alert and prone to accidents. Citizens also should move by private transportations like bus, train or taxi rather than utilizing their vehicles to fall number of cars on the streets during rush hours. Both the government and states should enact and enforce strict traffic laws and impose heavy penalties on violations of the law to deter criminals and others. In summary, although traffic congestion is a complex issue, it can be untangled by some measures mentioned above. These solutions, if properly enforced, can make urban life more convenient and environmentally friendly.
