The cycle provides information on how plastic bottles are recycled to be common products that people use. The process contains four main steps: sorting, compressing, crushing and heating. It is a linear process that converts the plastic bottles into new end products that people can consume again. By beginning with collecting plastic wastes from households, it undergoes several steps, including human labors and machinery, to ultimately introduce new items in markets. In order for the recycling process to initiate, plastic bottles must be collected and transported to recycling center, where human labors separate reusable ones from the others. Then, the each chosen one is compressed into large complexes so that they can be easily crushed. The crushed particles, now, are pulled into clean water to undergo a process called washing, where the dirty fractions can be washed out. Once washing is done, the clean ones are more sophisticatedly broken into further particles, forming power-like materials called plastic pellets. Then, heat is applied to pellets so that they can convert to raw materials that can be further utilized to produce end products.
