The map provides information on how a central library has been developed in twenty-year span. Overall, the library has undergone notable changes for 20 years, with several new constructs and expansions as well as demolishments of previous facilities. Meanwhile, the library has maintained the overall outline of the building, consistently containing four main rooms at the each corner. On the left side of the central library, the room for entertaining such as videos and computer games has been replaced to children's place with sofas for children's comfort, where children's fiction books are located and storytelling events take place. For the computer users, the room at the bottom left, which was used for reading room has been modernised to computer room. Between the two main rooms, adult fiction books were used to be placed, but now, this section has been replaced to all reference books corner. In the middle of the library, the tables and chairs have been removed for more space in the main hallway. As the room for children's books have been taken away to top left corner, lecture room has newly occupied this place. Furthermore, the enquiry desk is pulled down and reduced to small information desk in the middle of the right side. Instead, new cafe has been constructed. The adult fiction books have been moved next to the information desk, and self-service machines have been newly introduced, located next to the cafe.
