Task answer

The bar chart provides information on how many marine animals, including seal, whale, and dolphin are thriving in the Gormez Straits from 2006 to 2018. Overall, the populations of seal and whale appear to fluctuate notably in twelve-year span. Meanwhile, the number of dolphins had surged most dramatically, with the most amount among three species by 2018. However, the population of whale consistently represented low figures, remaining below 30 throughout the time period. In 2006, the number of seal was the highest with approximately 42, a little less than doubled from that of whales with 23. Dolphins had the smallest group with 17 in 2006. Despite the lowest number, the population of dolphins had rose tremendously, surpassing that of whales with 32 in 2014, and eventually that of seals with 52 in 2018. For population of seals, even though there was a substantial drop to 24, which was almost half of the previous one, between 2006 and 2010, it had recovered its number throughout the years, and finally overtook the last record by reaching 44. In terms of whales, the population had not been changed significantly, reaching the peak of 38 in 2018.
