Task answer

Living in more modernized world, people seek for convenient things, and this leads to increase in production of wastes. To mitigate this problem, I believe government must implement more practical regulations upon rubbish production. There are several potential reasons why people make more and more rubbish nowadays. One is the delivery system. Alongside the advanced technologies, it becomes far easier for people to order their food or products online. For the convenient affection that they do not need to bother to go outside to get the products themselves, more and more people prefer to use this method. However, they sometimes overestimate the potential danger that can be caused by their actions; most of the materials used for transports are disposable, such as plastic or woods. Thus, the more people relish calling for delivery, the more wastes are produced. In addition to consumer's habit, lack of education also plays a significant role in triggering a number of rubbish. People often overlook negative impacts of wastes on environment. They simply assume that the rubbish will somehow magically be removed or sometimes they do not think this issue is not their business. Due to the invisible uprising dangers, people generally consider the problem as a next generation's thing. This wrong mindset fosters them keeping buy plastic bags or getting plastic straws from the coffee shop, exacerbating the problem with rubbish. In order to mitigate the increase in production of rubbish, government must intervene. Since it is challenging to stop the companies or consumers from using online markets, it can introduce new tempting promotions, such as subsidising companies that use recyclable packaging or offering discounts for any products that produce no wastes. This small, yet powerful action will make people consume more goods that don't create wastes. Moreover, government must strengthen the education system with appropriate lectures to provoking people's nervousness of increase in rubbish. By helping people recognize the incoming danger of producing wastes, the government can expect the reduction in trash. In conclusion, it becomes noticeable that people produce more and more rubbish nowadays for the purpose of their own interests such as convenience. Also, lack of education is another serious factor. Therefore, government's intervene is essential, especially subsidising and educational improvement.
