There is an increase in the rate of selfies than being present in the moment at famous location. Have pictures become important than the location history? In this essay i would give my opinion on the matter. There has been a drastic rise in technology advancement in the 21st century, and with this rise comes more hand-held devices like moblie phones, digital cameras to name a few. Futhermore, social media is also a product of this new age and has become part of our everyday life with millions of users around the world. It has become a trend for individuals to post pictures or video about their daily life to show to family and friends in different location on the globe hoping to get likes, views and comments on the post. This new trend comes with both advantages and disadvantages. One of the benefit is the monetry ascpect of it. Beacuse photographs are being uploaded to the internet, different brands and company could reach out to social media influenecers, and pay for their products and serives to be posted on their page. I think is an easy and honest way to earn living. Futhermore, digital photos on the internet serves as memories which last forever, and can always be looked back on. The negative aspect to this is cyber bulling and racisim which can cause long lasting effect on the user. In conclusion, the positive gains of this trend surpass the negatives, and even though photos are taken without paying mind to the popular location, the memories are forever.
