The provided figure demonstrates the steps involved in producing sugar from sugar can. What stands out is that this linear process mostly utilizes machinery equipment to convert sugar canes into the form of sugar powder. It is also worth mentioning that the whole procedure consists of seven distinct stages. First, around 12 to 18 months are required to yield sugar canes. Once they have grown enough, the plant can be harvested through a specific machine or by farmers. After being harvested, it is transmitted to a factory in order to be crushed. As can be seen, sugar canes are being crushed until their juice is extracted. Afterwards, the supplied juice is sent to be purified by passing through a limestone filter. Then, the filtered juice is heated in a giant tank in order for its excessive water to evaporate until its syrup remains. One step before drying and cooling, the syrup is centrifuged, resulting in crystals that are separated from the syrup through swift rotation. The phase of dryness and coolness puts an end to the process.
