In the given map, it shows the industrial area in the town of Norbiton, and the plans for the future development of the site. The main changes that can be easily seen in the town of Norbiton are related to the shift from a totally industrialized area to a place with no factories and only houses and community needs based facilities. First of all, let's discuss the current map of the town of Norbiton. It can be seen that the town is heavily industrialized. The road that comes in from east side of the town has a factory on its east end. That road joins in at the middle of the town at the roundabout with four more factories on it and three factories on the roundabout. There is a river that can be seen in the south side of the town with a farmland across the river. In comparison to the current map, the planned future development is quite different. There are no more factories and instead a housing development is in place. There are shops and a medical centre on the southern side of the roundabout. Houses and a playground has taken the place of factories on the road coming in from the east side. A school can also be seen at the end of that road. A new road can be seen from the roundabout all the way to the north of the town across the river with even more houses and the farmland is moved to the northeast of the town.
