Learning about the past of a house or a building contributes to the preservation effort, as it enables the current owners to appreciate the significance of their dwellings. To conduct research into the history of their house or constructions, individuals can use several practical methods. One method involves utilizing digital platforms, such as mobile applications and online archives, which provide access to local archives and records. These resources allow individuals to trace the architectural details and personal stories or discoveries that are shared on the internet. Alternatively, seeking assistance from local archives or libraries, which often contains valuable information of ownership records, documents, collection of photographs and architectural details. Lastly, interviewing long-term residents can offer essential perspectives and the experiences of its inhabitants.
