Task description
The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write a minimum of 150 words.

Task answer
The table shows the difference in consumer spending on five distinct countries in 2002, the countries being Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey.
Overall, food/drinks/tobacco seems to take the biggest portion of consumer expenditure throughout the five countries, with leisure/education being the lowest in terms of spending.
Starting off with food/drinks/tobacco, which is significantly more spent on than any other category. 28.91% of Ireland's consumers spend money on food/drinks/tobacco, in Italy, that number goes down to 16.36%, then slightly decreases to 18.80% in Spain, the lowest spending country was Sweden with 15.77%, and the highest being Turkey with a huge 32.14%.
On to clothing/footwear and leisure/education, 6.43% makes up the consumer expenditure of Ireland for clothing/footwear, with 2.21% on leisure/education. Italy is the highest in terms of clothing/footwear with 9.00%, and 3.20% on leisure/education. Spain with 6.51% on clothing/footwear and the lowest on the list for leisure/education with 1.98%. Sweden with 5.40% for clothing/footwear and 3.22% on leisure/education. Lastly, Turkey had 6.63% on clothing/footwear and the highest for leisure/education at 4.35%.
