The map compares the two possible sites for the new supermarket in the town of Garlsdon. Overall, Garlsdon contains the largest population among the neighboring towns. While one potential position for the supermarket is situated in the countryside, the other one is located in the middles of the town center. The first proposed position lies in the countryside, to the northwest of the town, which also provides access for the inhabitants of Hindon which is in 12 km with a population of 10,000. Alternatively, the supermarket can be in th town center, which prohibits traffic and vehicle use. Housing areas surround this zone, while one of the two industry areas is located to the south of the town center, improving access for the population. Additionally, there is a railway connecting Hindon all the way to Cransdon to the southwest, with a population of 29,000, enabling residents of both towns to access both proposed locations. People from the former towns and those from Bransdon with a population of 15,000 can all acess the supermarket in the town center using the connecting main roads, while people from Hindon can only access the first proposed supermarket using either train or road vehicle.
