Writing report

The diagrams give information about the interior arrangement plan of a public library from 20 years ago and in its current state. Overall, the spatial arrangement of the library remained similar, having 6 main sections, a central space and the entrance placed southward. A notable change, was the vacancy of the central area in the most recent plan, which was formerly occupied by tables and chairs 20 years ago. The eastward side of the entrance, in both years, have three segments; however, the only common element at this side in both years is the information desk. It was located at the south-eastern area 20 years ago, but is now located at the east side, alongside adult fiction books, and self-service machines. A lecture room and a cafe, which were not present 20 years ago, are now located north and south of the information desk respectively. Towards the left of the entrance, is similarly arranged as the right side, divided into three sections. A notable change is the presence of the children's fiction books north-westward, now containing sofas which were not present 20 years ago. A computer room has also been included to recently and is located on the south of the children's area.
