Task answer
It is often argued that the goal of science should always be human wellbeing. I completely agree with this statement as scientific progress in medical, technological and also environmental sector directly leads to well being of the society.
To begin with the medical sector, science has played a major role in the development of doctors, medicines and also medical checkups which is the most important and foremost need in human’s life. Moreover the treatment and cure of different diseases is only possible due to science and their advancement in creating different technologies. For example, during the period of corona virus many researchers discovered new vaccines to deal with the virus and it was only applicable because of science.
In addition, as global warming is increasing rapidly in today’s changing world, science plays a pivotal role in solving environmental problems making life easier. For example, science raises awareness to the people by educating them on afforestation, deforestation, bio-degradable and non-biodegradable products, etc.
In conclusion, science should mainly aim to improve people’s lives because it saves lives through medical progress, makes daily activities easier with technology, and helps solve global challenges such as hunger and pollution. Therefore, the ultimate goal of science must always be human well-being.
