Some people think that entertainers like actors, singers, and sports stars get too much money. I agree with this. I think other jobs are more important and should get more pay. I will explain why in this essay. First, many entertainers make millions of dollars. For example, a famous football player or movie star can get a lot of money for just one game or one film. But a teacher or a nurse works hard every day and gets much less money. I think this is not fair. Second, entertainers give us fun and help us enjoy life. But they do not save lives or help people in real need. On the other hand, doctors, nurses, and police officers help people and protect us. Their work is more important, so they should get more money. Also, teachers help children learn and grow. Without good teachers, people cannot get good jobs in the future. They work hard, but they are not paid well. This should change. For example, during the COVID-19 time, doctors and nurses worked day and night to help sick people. But they did not get as much money as famous singers or actors who stayed at home. This shows that the people who help us most are not always paid the most. In conclusion, I believe entertainers are paid too much. People who help others, like doctors, nurses, teachers, and police, should get higher pay because their jobs are more important for our lives.
