Task answer
The decision to reside in a house or an apartment has been an ongoing debate. Others may see the advantage in living in their own home, instead of having to rent a room. This essay will aim to dissect the benefits and drawbacks of these two contradictory choices.
Having your own house serves as an investment in the future. Its money value continuously increases over time. Moreover, owning it means that you have the capability to customize it according to your liking. Whether it is the interior or the design of your place, or the furniture that you choose, you have the authority to decide on it. However, one should have a reasonable amount of money and a good line of credit in order to buy one. Another challenge is also ensuring that all taxes are up to date or it will be a legal battle with the government.
Living in a rented space, on the other hand, is good especially for the starters. This will enable them to save more and allocate their money to other matters such as grocery and expenses. But, since you are bound to an agreement, there are some limitations to what you can do. One relevant instance was when I moved in Canada and had to find a room where I can stay, the landlord informed me that I cannot drill or change the facade of my bedroom. As much as I want to make it cozy for me, she was firmed about her policy.
Overall, the consideration to live in your own home or having to rent is still based on the individual's buying power and its ability to pay. He or she must make a thorough research to make an informed and data-driven decision.
