Task answer

It has long been a matter of discussion whether living in a home is more beneficial or in an apartment. As such, there are both merits and demerits of this trend, although I am of the opinion that houses are more suitable than apartments in terms of space, freedom, and regulations. There are a number of arguments in favour of my stance. The most significant one is that houses provide a plenty of space inside and outside. Thanks to homes, not only can individuals utilise the backyard to grow multiple plants and vegetables, but they can also design in-house space as per their taste. For example, ample space can be utilised in terms of a personal gym, home theatre, private swimming pool, and so on. Hence, it is apparent why some prefer to live in a house. Another aspect that strengthens the case for homes is that owners can enjoy their freedom without any unnecessary rules and regulations by a third party, like management. Therefore, they can follow their own terms and conditions for noise level, visitor access, and enjoyment. These benefits clearly prove why houses are best to enjoy life, free of regulations. There are, however, some pitfalls that can easily overwhelm the potential benefits of houses. The most conspicuous one lies in the fact that houses come with a great maintenance cost. Not only owners have to pay the morgage, insurance, and utilities, but they also have to take care of some extra repairs, namely appliances, water leak damages, grass-cutting, and so forth. This shows why houses come with some drawbacks also. To conclude, I believe, the arguments outlined above succinctly illustrate the advantages of houses over the disadvantages and prove that they are an indispensable part of the world today.
