Dear Sarah, I am Kessie Castillo from Hollyburn House Living. I recently attended the workshop you facilitated about Gentle Persuasive Approach for older adults with Dementia last week, August 28. I would like to share that the event was an eye-opener because it supplemented us knowledge on how to better treat and deal people with mental illness. Moreover, I know that being in the healthcare industry, we should be more emphatic and understanding about their well-being. Interestingly, one of my favorite activities was when we were simulating instances wherein they can be aggressive, and how we can better mitigate the situation by being calm and knowledgeable of the steps required to address it. Just a room for opportunity though, since the activity requires active participation from all attendees, I would suggest managing the time effectively. It can be done through starting the workshop on time, and limiting breaks as well. Overall, the event was a success and I look forward to attending more trainings related to this. Best regards, Kessie
