Task answer
In modern society people can get needed information very easily. A new blockbaster usually causes a burst of attention towards actors who play there. There are a lot of fan-communities, forum topics about famous people, and photographers, also called paparazzi, produce new content permanently. This content undoubtedly satisfies numerous spectators, but in this topic I will discuss taking photos by paparazzi from the point of view of actors and other famous people.
According to some opinion-makers, constant following of celebrities by photographers is a good thing, because endless interest signifies popularity. The more photos fans see, the more mentions in social media the celebrity gets. It is certainly winning situation. But there is another side of the coin, or, in other words, a blot on the landscape.
Very often paparazzy stand on celebrity's way, violating their privacy. Paparazzi are lying in wait for a good shot, sitting on trees near famous people's houses, or launching drones. Sometimes it leads to tragic consequences. The whole world mourned in 1997 princess Diana, who died after trying to escape from a car of paparazzi.
Therefore, taking photos of private life of famous people is a big ethical problem. From the one hand, some celebrities want to be popular, and it means that they should be mentioned in mass-media and social media much more frequently. But from the other hand, the invasion of the privacy of celebrities is the same offense as of ordinary people. So, persistent pursuit of every person, regardless of their fame, should be condemned.
