Nowadays, people have more time to live compared to previous decades. Some believe that older individuals are creating issues for the Governments, whilst others contend that having elderly people in society can lead to greater benefits. Though old-age group people cannot contribute to the country's direct infrastructural developments, I firmly believe that older citizens can create a positive impact on the nation's future generations by sharing their valuable insights regarding their experiences. To begin with, numerous people think of the elderly group as they are a burden in society. It is because of their disability to work and contribute properly as opposed to the young people. For instance, younger people can move faster than older ones; as a result, they can work faster and make a huge contribution by giving physical as well as mental efforts. For this reason, government officials need to make extra schemes to give elderly residents incentives rather than giving them the actual money they owe to the country. On the other hand, some are opposed to the fact that senior citizens are crucial to the colony, as they have the real-life information that may benefit the upcoming generation. It is undoubtedly true due to the fact that older citizens have seen real-life events more than teenagers or adults. For instance, an old researcher might carry more number of precious information compared to a junior one, and it may benefit society by just sharing that data with others and governments as well. Furthermore, elderly parents are mandatory for the youth to learn the priceless lessons that can later work for the country. In conclusion, even though the extra funds are required for the senior individuals of a country, it is undeniably true that older people can create a good impression among the generations by guiding them properly, so it clearly outweighs the disadvantages.
