Task description

You recently stayed at a hotel and were unhappy with the service you received. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter: Introduce yourself and mention when you stayed at the hotel Describe the problems you faced Suggest what the hotel could do to improve their service Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Task answer

Dear Manager, My name is Rohit Sharma, and I stayed at your hotel from 12th to 15th October during a business trip. I had chosen your property based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, the room I was given had not been cleaned properly. The carpet was dusty, and the bathroom had clear signs of previous use. Despite requesting housekeeping twice, no one attended to the room until the following day. Secondly, the breakfast service was extremely slow. On both mornings, several items at the buffet were empty, and staff members seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive when guests asked for assistance. I believe these issues can be resolved with better staff training and improved supervision. Ensuring rooms are checked thoroughly before guests arrive and assigning additional staff during peak hours would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
