Task answer
A large portion of the population are visiting famous places to capture images of themselves and their family members, despite getting proper knowledge about the place. This is because of the advertisement tricks by the owners, and I think it is a negative trend due to people got tricked after reaching the place.
Conspicuously, advertisements are controlling human's thought process, as nowadays we spend a large amount of time on social media. We got excited and fascinated on something after watching any trendy video on YouTube reels or Instagram shorts about any place or some other things. Besides, when we watch our favourite players or actors are promoting anything, then we think the product is worthy to buy or the place is the best to spend our vacation. For instance, a hollywood actor named Chris Evans, once promoted a country named Cuba as a best place to visit on vacation, as a result the visitor rate was increased by 23% on that year.
Furthermore, most of the time people witnessed after reaching the place that, the scenario is not even 50% attractive as it was shown on the advertisement. Therefore, they understand that they got scammed by the place owners through an edited video on social media. In addition, they lost a huge amount of money and time by just believing on their favourite stars. For example, Thailand has been over-hiped by some actors and social media videos as the best place to visit, but the actual review is very low from general people.
In conclusion, it is not advisable to visit any well-known place just to click photos without knowing the place properly because it could be a false hope given by the place owners through advertisements; besides, it can also break people's dream vacation while following the trend.
