Task answer

Dear Jane, You may remember me from the reading club we both attended last month. We met at the club and discussed the economy, and you shared some exciting ideas from Adam Smith’s book, The Wealth of Nations. I am writing to ask whether I could borrow your copy of An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith. I have been looking for this book in bookshops all week. However, I have not been able to find it. I am writing an essay about the Scottish Enlightenment, and Adam Smith is one of its most important thinkers, so it would be very helpful for me to have a printed copy. Are you planning to come to the next reading club meeting on 12 April? If so, could you bring it with you? I would really appreciate it. I will return it by 18 April. It would also be nice to have lunch together after the meeting. Best regards, Tom Brown
